THE GODDESS What He Doesn’t Touch, He Cannot Control

It started one day when I was teaching a class for children.  And they were discussing what they should do, if a man grabbed them. They were very quiet when I told then the story of the circle of two hundred pound Black Belts. With the big cat tied up and sedated in the middle of them. The question I asked the children was which of these highly trained and qualified fighters would want to grab the mountain lion first? They just looked at me and said nothing. I said I think I know the answer to that question and they all said in a chorus, who? I said no one would willingly put his or her hands on that lion because the lion knows only one instantaneous response. Kill and eat whoever is trying to lay hands on them. Mountain lions aren’t nice at all and could care less what any law says about self-defense being legal or illegal. In the wilderness, it always is kill or be killed.

So what is the connection between: what he doesn’t touch, he cannot control?  It is like this.  Remember that a female body has 32 weapons at her disposal whenever she   is threatened. You see that people make decisions about learning self-defense without fully realizing what it will take and what the outcome will be for them,  of being fully able to protect themselves. Because women and girls have lived their entire lives fearful of being raped and then murdered, they cannot conceive of living a life with fear not controlling their every thought and action. Choosing self-defense and martial arts is a real important decision to make so don’t take this lightly.

The point is this: when a man grabs a girl off the street and starts to cart her off, not controlling her arms, legs or hands is quite the norm, he does  not give her uncontrolled limbs any thought at all. He doesn’t control her arms, legs or feet because he does not believe she can do anything dangerous with them. It makes kidnapping girls a lot of fun for these serial child molesters and pedophiles. It’s at this point that it gets gummy for the pedophile and child molester. Think about this for a minute, can a girl learn martial arts, yes or no? Of course it’s a big yes, she can be as good as she wants to be! Now the whisper in her ear is this, what he doesn’t touch, he cannot control. Why just a whisper? Because in a street situation, the well-trained martial artist knows only to well what her weapons, options and plans are before she has a finger laid on her. As you read more about this martial arts galaxy that I have written for you, you will fully understand what is waiting for you and what you can learn and use in a moment of crisis.

Now lets get down to it and let me tell you why you want to remember these words: what he doesn’t touch he cannot control. If you feel that a big strong attacker would overcome you, let me put it to you this way. Have you ever knocked someone out or hurt him or her so bad they could not continue their fight against you? If you answered no to this question, let me tell you something; it is a very empowering thing to do because you will have learned a very powerful truth. You can protect yourself against someone bigger and stronger. You need to roll that around in your brain because when he comes knocking, you will be more than ready to take care of business.  Does that seem possible to you, well probably not now, but there have been thousands of practioners over the hundreds of years who learned eventually that what I have just taught you is true.

You have the advantage because, of the attacker’s belief system that is so ingrained into his thinking that he does not even recognize that he believes you are defenseless. Did you get that?  Because that is the bedrock lesson I want you to really come to terms with. The attacker does not consider even for a second that you could hurt him. He does not realize that he thinks this way about you either, he only thinks about the prize that awaits him. He shows you his thinking by how he approaches you on the close of your body and his. And, as I say over and over in my classes, “it don’t get better than that.

My last thought on the subject is I want you to say this to last paragraph to your self 100 times today and 100 times tomorrow, commit all of this paragraph to memory. This is very important to you, no kidding!
